I have the one on the bottom. It was my great uncle's that was handed down to my dad and he handed it down to me. It prolly ain't worth $50 anymore and you couldn't get it away from me if you tried......:)

That old new haven bolt has a tight choke and is a real gem. I like them both, but use the Stevens 77 corn cob pump more just because it holds 3 with plug and has a legit full choke. The new haven is more like an X Full. I love these old smoothbores and they will never leave the family!

That’s a beauty! Are you shooting bismuth out of it? What’s the chamber length?

Yes, I have fired it with bismuth (one time). Surprisingly the chamber is 3”. I also have fired 2 3/4” target loads (4 times).

My buddy has one of those B80's from back in the day. Steel was brand new, that gun was 2 3/4" only, he shot BB steel through it pass shooting at canada geese. Even with those early crappy steel loads watching him smash geese with it even wayyyyyy up there (at least that's how I remember it) was something.....
He used that gun until he bought one of those new fangled super black eagle guns. Here I thought he was lethal with his B80 and 2 3/4" shells.....
