Look here, this is factual information as quoted in this news article:


Grant Erman’s son, Matt Erman, granted Wolf permission to hunt the bean field, but he instructed Wolf to “stay away from Jeff Erman’s land if they didn’t also have permission to hunt his land.” Matt Erman also said that he did not give Wolf permission to hunt the property line, and he would never have given them permission if he knew where they intended on hunting.

The you tuber was brought in front of a judge and punished for his wrongdoing.
I read all these wild claims here made by people like @bill cooksey saying they ought to break cornholios nose below but those are neither here nor there.
Again, everyone involved in that video was wrong. Again that video has over a million views. To me it’s not a positive video for hunting in any way. In fact it’s more ammo for the anti hunters out there. Ultimately that’s the sad part.

Cornholio had no business saying a word to them because they were not on his land. That’s a fact. He acted like a huge horses azz. That’s a fact. The landowner who granted permission was so mad he let them hunt the next day, and he was the only person who could justify being upset with the hunters. That’s a fact.

The landowner who granted permission is loving this.

I’ve seen people say the landowner told them when giving permission they had to stay away from the property line, but I’ve not seen it substantiated. If true, they were wrong for setting up there…and they should have broken cornholio’s nose.

I’m not interested in participating either. Will say this, if cornholio was my neighbor I’d grant permission to anyone who asked, but I’d require they hunt the property line.

Like I said many pages ago, seems like this dispute should've been resolved before shooting time. Judging how Cornholio acted, I wouldn't be surprised if he watched the kids set-up before he made is charge. Purely speculation on my part!

I don't know any of those involved. I'm not "overinvested" nor am I "invested" at all, other than I watched the videos and some folks have been making outrageous claims that are not supported by the facts (while claiming all they have done is post facts LOL).

For example cornhole clearly said he was wanting to hunt there while admitting they were not on his property. Cornhole was clearly on the neighbor's property while on his side by side and on foot when he was scaring off the waterfowl and demanding $$ from the group.

Some folks seem fine he was harassing hunters & scaring ducks and geese (illegal) folks who were hunting not on his land but nearby it...this is troubling IMO

The group even offered to move, that was not going to satisfy ole Jeff no not at all. He wanted his $300 to "allow them to hunt his neighbor's land" - why anyone refuses to accept what he actually said on video is amazing to me .

Cornhole could have hunted where the rest of his group were hunting ; but Nope he wanted to extort $$$ from the group not hunting on his land. I can't help the folks that don't see the wrong in every action ole Jeff did clearly on video for all to see who take the time to rather than just make silly assumption based on hate for utube folks. Ole Jeff will likely do this to the wrong group and learn a hard but valuable lesson. I admit I find that idea entertaining.

A few folks here seem to hate utube folks So Much they don't bother to examine what is known and clear on video. I don't see anything wrong with expecting folks to be honest and truthful - of course that is just me.

My "Motive" is on the side of what is right... simple as that

For me, yeah, cornholio is an idiot and an arsehole. Those forkers are everywhere...why hunt right next to them?

I could have a confrontation damn near every time I go hunting if I wanted....but I'll go the other way before pushing for that. I would not hunt a property line between someone who gave me permission and someone I don't know. Add the idea that the kids were told he was a problem.....now you just have stupid and a ruined day.

Not worth it.

I didn't day I never did it.....I said it was stupid.

God granted me the ability to always know when I was being dumb.....I just didn't get the memo on the ability to avoid that until I was much older.

I'm not calling for their heads.....I'm just saying I don't need that crap when I'm going hunting, especially at a spot where I don't know all the players that well. Admittedly, there was a day when you could tell me to stay away from someone or something because it would be trouble.....and I would be, uh, curious to see how much trouble.

Yea, I remember my younger days when told that something, someone, or someplace was trouble and the bugle in my head sounded "CHARGE!" As they were escapes, I tried my damnedest to keep my hunting/fishing conflict-free. However, if conflict arose, I was up for the challenge. Today, due to age, maturity, and mainly diminished physical capacity, I try to avoid any conflict.
