    Most of the people who poo poo golf do not have a tenth of the talent it takes to play the game WELL. I'm not talking about drinking 10 beers and going to the all night driving range, smashing balls with a driver, and telling yourself "Man, I'd probably be really good at golf."

    And a much smaller percentage are good at duck hunting.....

    I think the reason people like it is it's one of the only "hobbies" you can do blitzed drunk. Besides fishing

    You can't fish the big waters when it's windy so golfs another option.

    I typically start off a round of golf hitting the beers pretty consistently. About the 3rd fairway, my game calms down and I'm playing better. After the turn, I'm starting to see more than one ball and not caring quite as much about where it winds up. Down a couple waters and ease back on the alcohol until 14, then pick it back up for the home stretch. It's all about course management.

    I'll go hit some golfballs and drink some beer at Top Golf or another driving range....I draw the forking line at retrieving them. :yes

    I do a bit of deer,turkey and squirrel scouting while I'm playing.
