    Agreed. But I did get a sobering alternative view on this last night.
    "Golf is for people who want to day drink, but still look like functional upstanding adults."
    I had to give him that one.

    I do play a time or two a year for our "teambuilding/mandatory fun" thing. Fully paid, just show up and drink. Half the time I don't even have a scorecard.

    I love golf, it keeps people off the fishing lakes in the summer.

    I found > 12,000 golf balls in the salt marsh where I hunt waterfowl. Two golf courses are alongside the marsh. I like to shoot golf course Canada geese. They are stuffed with grass. 4FEFB341-0F02-435D-B615-BEE2F49BAEC3.jpeg

    When I used to golf, it was purely a social event. The first thing that would happen would be to cut/light an Ashton cigar, crack a beer, and grab the driver as I walked onto the 1st tee box. :l :l :l.

    Golf beats the hell outta mowing. I go every chance I get in the summertime.
