I happened upon the recipe for MS pot roast a few years ago. By far the best and tastiest slow cooked roast recipe I've had.
Put roast in crock pot
Add packet of au jus gravy
Packet of onion soup mix
Packet of ranch dressing
Jar of pepperocinis
About a stick of butter chunked up on top of roast.
Cook for 8-10 hours on low
I normally salt&pepper the roast the day before and let it sit in the fridge.
Plenty of varying recipes online for this, but this is the one I like best. Rarely any leftovers available.
This triggered me.
