I believe my truck is totaled

    You ain’t dead or maimed, so that’s the good part. Stuff (trucks, guns, etc) is just stuff and can be replaced

    glad you walked away from it. I fully understand having been in something almost identical to that when I was a kid.

    Most likely you will get a new grill , radiator, bumper two new fenders, a hood , and new underwear . Unless your frame is bent then it’s totaled !

    The drivers side is worse than the side I took pictures. Can’t open drivers door but 1/3 way where it’s hitting the fender. Cab looks to be 1” outside bed on passenger side. It was a solid impact. Believe me I feel it now.

    Thankful that, for the most part, you are okay. Wadded up truck sure beats a memorial service. From my experience, insurance co will try to lowball you on your vehicle. You may also have medical bills that will arise at a later date. Hope they compensate you fairly.
