I would like to say that public land hunting is full of young idiots who do stupid chit.....and then I remember that there hasn't been much evolution of duck hunters since I was a kid too. :l :l

I take out peoples flagging tape and cat eyes all the time.

Personally I don’t like seeing someone else’s ****ty blind or stand when I want to hunt a spot. Portable hides and quick makeshift hides are easy enough for a lot of areas. Obviously some spots they don’t cut it but when I go out to enjoy nature I’d rather not see trash all over the woods

Some public areas here in Illinois say in the rules to remove the blind at the end of your days hunt, meaning knock it down. 95 percent of people don't, and we just keep building on them throughout the year making them better but that is the rules. Now I will tear down my blind in a couple spots every day so no one else sees them and hunts that spot, but only if I'm the original builder.

You're in Ohio right?....I've shot more ducks in Ohio (and SE MI) than I will for the rest of my life, but I'll trade everything in your post for all the [very few] birds in my future.
…..Yea!

You can leave stands up all season long here. IDk about duck blinds but if they are made out of all natural materials it makes sense to just leave it up for the next guy. Or for yourself when you come back. We have tons of them here. So as far as tromping one down is beyond me.

I made a beautiful blind at a state area in IL. Got hunted one time by another group and they smashed every bit of cover in the shooting hole. Some people are just dumb. Oh and they left an empty funyans bag and mountain dew cans.
This is what im saying. Why do that?

Some people can’t stand others having anything. They are just interested in themselves and jealous of what they don’t have but that’s public land hunting.
Its not even about having anything. A tree stand sure. But a duck blind made out of natural vegetation? They can easily have it, all they gotta do is sit down and hunt it! No need to destroy it and leave me screwed over on my next outing. Same with a stand actually.here in ohio If its on public land you can legally hunt it! Just leave it the hell in the same shape you entered it in. Its common decency.
