Single shot rifles only. 1.4” case, .30 cal. no different than pistol regulations. Except bottleneck, maybe a .300 Blackout. Not a real good longer range load. No wildcats, must be a manufactured round. Better choices out there to hunt with. Just a lot of bureacurative bull crap.

Don’t believe there is a length limit on straight walled cartridges, the 1.4” applies to the bottle neck cartridges.
Yep! Guess l should have written that better!
Also, l don’t think this applies to night or out of season deer hunting!
