That’s cheap. The good stuff in Middle Tennessee is $150 per 50lb bag.

I have seen 3.00/lb+ at some of the box stores.....seed house here is about 2.15 - 2.40 depending on the blend.

Yeah.....and then someone else will come on and tell you how to cut it (at what degree to the equator, and the best moon phase), another will tell you to thatch while another tells you to never do that (along with an anecdote about a child who choked on thatch), while another espouses on the cancer causing ability of every lawn chemical you don't give a fork about. Yeah, I'mma head right over there. :l :l

Roy D Mercer recommends Kentucky Blue Hemp Superturf.
Yes, however you do have to fertilize it with a 55 gallon drum of whoop arse!

Man....the mornings I limped home from Pop's, as the sun came up, seem like a long time ago.
Same! I used to run the Robert E Lee down on the riverfront. I'd usually leave the boat sometime between 1:00 and 2:00. I'd head over to Pops once or twice a week after work. Lot's of times I didn't get home until after the sun was up.......Of course lots of times I'd hit PT's too, I mean,...... Why not?

Quite a few year later, I was interviewing a guy from Memphis to be one of my sales reps. Part of the company's hiring process was a 2 day ride along with me to make sure the position was a good fit. so, at the end on the second day, I was trying to ditch the guy, because I needed to head over to PT's to sign up for their golf tournament ( to play entertain customers....which I had done for a few years prior).....that day was the deadline to complete the applications. .But I couldn't shake the guy that was working with me.....Finally, I pulled into PT's parking lot, and said "Look man, there's something important that I need to do inside. You could wait in the car, or come in, and let me buy you a drink........One drink turned into about 8, or 9, and the dude was so impressed that I put $2000 on my company card to play in a golf tournament hosted by a gentlemen's establishment that he was literally like " Where to I sign":l

I figured you'd have dropped enough seeds and stems from your "medication" over the past 6 weeks, you'd have enough of a good base around the house for a lawn already.

I think I just saw an add for Bucheits that had that bag on she for $75. I need to get some and throw down, my back yard is real thin due to the dry weather last year and my old dog killing it all. The stuff I planted last year didn't come in very well.
