Mine is more so to get comfortable shooting birds in uncomfortable places in the flight pattern. It’s more of a confidence builder than anything for me.

Yep, it is a confidence builder.

My buddy who is approaching 25000 registered birds told me that in the early days that was the norm, too. This course is just a fun course to shoot.

When I am a single shooter on the 5-Stand, I let the puller have his choice. He is allowed to pull as soon as I close the gun, or he can pause. Whatever birds/traps he wants. Single, RP, TP

    Close to where I hunt
I always give the puller the option as I close my eyes ,turn around with my back to the field , with gun unloaded shells still in the box in my truck , he then
can throw the target when ever he pleases and shouts ,Now ! I always load 2 , sometimes 5 just incase he tricks me and throws a Flurry , which gives me
full use of the gun !

You were watching a different video, Shannahan.

I watched the video you posted. In the B-roll of the event everybody except one guy fired twice, exactly like I said. That’s because it was video of them in the preliminary rounds in which you have full use of the gun. Obviously you weren’t paying attention too much.

I see what you're talking about. I didn't watch the lead-in (which in retrospect clearly said "one shot per target" on the rules chart), I went directly to the finals shooting.....where only one shot is allowed.
Bottom line: I'll give you that some games, some of the time, do allow two shots at a target. The exception proves the rule.

Well through the year I shoot a lot of 2 shot singles, and I don’t shoot near as many registered targets as some. So I wouldn’t call it the exception :tu
