No one should be drinking at work, big boy has nothing to do with it.
Uh, they’re ALL at work. I don’t go hang out with clients or co-workers because I WANT to. It’s part of my job.
some people shouldn’t I agree. “No one” is a pretty broad brush, eh?
All three of those examples are considered "at work" for many of us.
Any of you ever seen the tv show MAD MEN? Now that was on the clock drinking right there.
I recall tagging along on some of my father's business lunches in the late 70s and early 80s. They'd eat great food, wash it down with bottles of great wine and then drink 4-5 gin martinis to settle everything in.
The two martini lunch didn't get in the business lunch lexicon by happenstance.
Besides, how are you gonna have any on the job stories? How many good stories start out, "Me and the guys were sitting around having a salad."
The carpenters i worked with would go for cheap beer. The guys who ain't that bright about fractions were suddenly geniuses at the liquor store. I waa flatly informed that ice house beer was the cheapest buzz then they showed me.
Percents and fractions both were involved in the explanation. ??? . Yeah the jokers I went to high school with actually had brains. Who knew?
Yeah I've had a liquid lunch or two.
where do I apply for a job where I don’t have to hide my drankin
