The Flat Earth Society is accepting members.

Blame it on God. I didn’t create the Human Being or develop his Nature.
People that hide behind conservation as the reason for clinging to hunting over unharvested crops are the real sham artist. They don’t want to relinquish their advantage over the resource.
I’ll go on to say 90% of what makes a ducks duck happens on the breeding grounds. That’s not my opinion there are studies and science to back that up.
Thats where it all starts and will end. About right now it’s time for another dry cycle on the prairie.
For the young guns my hope is that the ducks respond as well as they did the last time.
That’s when we will find out who is in it for personal gratification and the bucks over the ducks.
If it’s anything like last time a lot less diesel will be consumed and the kilowatt hours will dwindle.
I’ll chime in.......
We have been farming for ducks in AR and LA since the 1930’s. Other states have caught on. Can you fault them?
Ducks are still coming to Arkansas but they are either not coming to heavily hunted areas or coming at night. There are still well managed private AR venues that don’t sky bust; that don’t shoot after 10:00 AM; that don’t hammer their ground 7 days a week, that don’t plow down habitat with mud motor and use common sense that have great hunts.
Weather is not an issue? Funny I found thousands of new mallards in AR on public ground when our nation finally got some sustained cold weather after the first week of February.
