    from the area of the smoke plume, looked like Ogden Bay!:tu

    There is a prescribed burn schedule for about 525 acres on Unit 1 of the Ogden Bay WMA this morning, May 26, 2010

    I could see the flames when i was driving on I-15. And it was blazing!

    They are on track to burn the west pond of Harold Crane today. I hope they get it done. After that I hope they can find some cattle to put in there to keep the phrag controlled. I know that Ogden Bay, and Farmington Bay are both out to bid for grazers right now. The big problem is finding a grazer with enough cattle to do an adequate job of controling the phrag...but that is fodder for a whole different thread.

    They mentioned today's burn on the radio this morning. Hope it went well.

    I was walking by the FB east entrance gate the other day and could see they've got cattle in there right now.
