I'll just quote Secretary Loveless.................

"We will be having a conversation with the Outfitters to have public access to the land that they have tied up to leases."

I will be calling Bobby Guy on Wednesday to see what days I can hunt the sandpit in Hutch. So don't go trying.

Dumbest statement ever made by kdwp employee I am sure all outfitters will open up their leases to the public. I wish they would have meetings with residents but that's not going to happen we are a hindrance to the total sell out of our wildlife management for a few dollars more to the highest bidder. What ever happened to wildlife management with the resources being the most important thing and not about the love of money.

I’m sure the private landowners and guides will show up for their meetings. Public hunting on private land is dead on arrival.

Outfitters don't deserve a seat at the table. They are a big part of the problem.

How about the landowners making money from them.....can they have a seat?

No Grif. They can lease to whomever they want. Our issues concern out of control guide operations, diminishing access, over-pressured resources and overcrowded public lands. Outfitters contribute to all of these problems. Landowners can do what they want and restrict access however they see fit.

I get it. But how do you propose to get landowners, who enjoy the money from leasing, on your side? My bet is that there is a lot more clout in that group than a group of hunters have.

Send them all a 10 99

there is a saying “ we don’t negotiate with terrorists”

apparently they bend over backwards for them. Reason we are not going to a NR Turkey draw this year is so the outfitters can have a longer advance warning to tell their clients. I can’t wait to see the outcome of this meeting.

Can someone explain how lauber has a lifetime appointment to this commission when they are to have a 2 term limit I guess I will contact the ethics committee in Topeka and see what excuse I hear. I have a state representative also looking into it let's see where this goes I hope it's lauber voted off the island I believe he is at about 13 -14 years now I might be off a little but way past 2 terms
