    First Time EVER I did not draw.

    I am hoping my luck has flipped with the DFG refuge draws too...now maybe I'll get drawn.:nutz

    I didn't put in this year because I finally drew x5b after 10 years of waiting...that has worked out great. Last time I heard, there was one sage bush in the entire zone that didn't burn.

    Yep the Rush fire is the 2nd biggest in CA history,sorry it is the biggest,they just can't add the 45,000 that ran into NV, deer and horses don't use a map,X5B will never be the power zone in this state again,That fire just did to much damage.Let's see how DFG handles deer hunting in there this year????

    Rumor is they will have the season but might allow the tag holders to turn in tags for points. I am pretty sure my honey hole will still produce a good buck. Not sure what we are going to do yet.

    Pretty said, I hunted that unit 5 times. Back in the 80s that place was amazing.

    Congratulations, Eric. That's a great draw considering the odds, especially this year. Just keep the hunt vidoes off of You Tube!!!:cool:
