LA spring squirrel season

64 degrees, light east wind, mostly clear skies and I ain’t got nothing else going on this morning. Might go chase bushy tails with the twice pipe. Game time decision.

My son has been begging me to make him some tree chicken. Thank for the reminder to dig some out of the freezer.

I’m going schnitzel hunting as soon as I get out of work.

It’s awfully green out here. I’ll hang here for an hour or so.

Sun is out now but no squirrel sightings. Plenty of mosquitoes,

Cardinals, Blue Jays, and a Catbird keeping me entertained.

I bought me a sack of deer corn yesterday. Figured I could put a splash or two in each deer feeder and hunt them from deer stands with the kids.

Wolves bad this year?

Don’t know yet. I guess I’ll have to shoot one in the yard when I get home. I haven’t seen a squirrel along this overgrown fence row that I usually hunt in October, they must be eating sunflower seeds in suburbia right now. Lol.
