    Scott its been a long time, the pics look sweet. I cant belive those are your kids they are all grown up. we need to get out this year. I will post up some pics when I get some time my boys are getting big.

    Well, I shot a gadwall (drake of course) in the head (of course) and sent Deke out for the retrieve. He took a perfect line (of course) and upon the return trip I noticed spots of blood on his face. This is quite common because of the aforementioned head shots (of course). It wasn't until he got back to the boat and stopped to pee, with the bird still in his mouth (of course) that I saw there was more than just a few spots of blood. I haven't seen him look that bloody since he was a pup and he chewed up my dear sweet wife's Franco Sarto boots.
