j rock 75 2000 was a exceptional year in Kansas was told nearly all dark geese were below interstate 70 because of 2 ft of snow every where north best goose year in my 50+ years of hunting. 83 was a barn burner as well but same senerio was in effect

That must have been around the same time frame Phill and Warren Coco filmed the original duckmen around those parts.

The 1999-2000 season was great for me up until Thanksgiving I remember it well. I watched around 50k greenheads fly off. I was wearing a t shirt. Every day prior to that I limited. If id known what I know now I'd have told my boss see ya in March and headed south. I was an intern at General electric in Mattoon, Il.

Coco still had his camp and blinds in Maurepas through the 90s, but I think they filmed "Duckmen of Louisianna in 85/86. That was all done at Cocos place.

Yet, there was a time when he wondered if it would ever pay for itself. Gave me a copy, and I returned it after viewing, so he could share it again. Don't know if the above is really so, but it's the best I've seen. Can't make myself watch most others through, to include some of their later stuff.

When I was a kid I watched that video so many times. So much to where the VCR wouldn’t play the tape. Have to adjust tracking on it every 2 min. Even as an adult I still watch it every couple yrs before the opener.
