I'm headed to Europe in May and I would love to learn a little basic language to not appear the ignorant foreigner especially from America. I've checked local libraries for a copy but I have had no luck.

I am looking for a copy of Rosetta Stone in French. Its expensive, and Ebay is expensive and no cheaper.

I'm wondering if anyone here has a used copy for sale, maybe would rent me their copy, or would even be willing to just loan me a copy?

Go to Craigslist and be done with it.

Speak a bit of French and the locals will know A LOT more English... doesn't even have to be good French... just enough to show you are trying.

Get outside of Paris and you will see some beautiful things... the people may drive you nuts at times though... just like everywhere else.

Look and listen for fat, lazy, loud Americans while in Paris... it starts to become a sport after a while... then it just gets sad. No wonder many countries think we are filled with idiots.
