Dakin has been dry for 3 years, But it should get water this year on spring run off...
I remember in the mid to late 90’s the lake was going into some Fleming still even in October. Correct me if I am wrong

Tule Lake had never been a dry playa lake in its recorded history. Yet, it has now been dry for two consecutive years. Great winter of snow but it still remains dry, along with LK. It’s all politically driven under the guise of climate change along with upstream and downstream protections for fish.

Will either ever get water again with the current political climate?
Click on the attached picture for a more clear image. I am willing to bet the Siskiyou, Humboldt and Trinity portions of the Klamath drainage are far above 100% as well.

^^^Ding Ding Ding!!! Who is responsible? The farmers blame the Natives, the Natives blames the government (BOR) government blames the irrigation districts the irrigation districts blame the Natives. Vicious circle of incompetence and self interest. To compound the problem USFWS Waterfowl biologists and USFWS Fisheries Biologists are not on the same page.

Please correct me if I am wrong!

The area just potentially received access to $15M. I foresee more useless projects in the future like term nesting island's, upgrade to visitor center, a few nature trails, etc.

What has been allowed to happen to LK and TL truly is a tragedy.
