You can give money till the cows come home, but the ESA and courts come out on top.

Newsome didn't seem to have a problem with the Sac winter run salmon. One swipe of his pen bypassed the esa and water policies here.

Newsome, and Chucky has zero concern where wildlife is concerned, unless it makes a splash (no pun intended). Chucky could be Pinocchio's brother, the strings move so easy.

Well apparently I don’t get it, or maybe I don’t, or maybe somebody else doesn’t get it, who knows….

I’m just stating some facts, y’all can do with it as you please.

Optimism, thank god for optimism. Keep it coming.

At the end of the day, with all this mess, that’s all we’ve got. As bad as it’s been, it can realistically only get better.

There’s a lot of people to “blame” and that’s what’s so frustrating in all this……

We can only keep our fingers crossed at this point that when and if the A Canal is opened it will make its way to Tule. I'm skeptical that will even happen as the Feds (BOR) and tribes have set a new lake level elevation of 4142.4 before any water will be considered for release. I cant remeber the last time I have seen Upper Klamath lake this full.
Yes, this is the issue. W/o A Canal water, Tule Lake Sump A won't be able to fill. And how much longer will Ady Canal be open? The excess run-off is nice but it won't last long and it won't plant many acres of crops.
