Who won n how many birds? And did the winner roost shoot?
Might be easier just to sponsor a 1 roost jump per team tournament!!!!
184 was tops with a 181 right behind! Not sure if these were the roost shoots or not???
A lot of 0’s
Funny how when prize money is involved ethics disappear. Same thing with billfish tournaments, save the billfish, catch and release, tag for the future.... oh it’s a million $ tournament it’s ok stick that 65” white marlin
Yeah, have to say that those Companies and/or organizations participating in contests that promote killing the most or making the biggest pile are not necessarily in the best interest representing the outdoors and the hunting community! More “make a pile” videos with people screaming in ecstasy is exhausting to me. Just sort of fed up with all the self promoting and wanting to be a hunting “rock star”.
To each their own I guess but certainly not my cup of tea!!!
We will see what kind of feedback Mac's gets. If nothing changes for next year all the teams will know what it takes. If it does change maybe they will consider some kind of oversight like an observer for each team. Still room to bend the rules that way too. And they need to clarify their rules if need be.
Drakes Landing, I imagine you are ready to get into them next weekend the right way
Gonna be a couple of weeks I think for NW Missouri!
I really don't see the problem with how some did this hunt, had decoys out and hid from the birds. Isn't that what most of us try to accomplish in our hunting?
Not a fan of the whole deal but unless the rules specifically said over decoys that could be interpreted a lot of ways. If they disqualified a team for hunting over 6 decoys the attorneys will no doubt be involved. Macks may end up having to pay out double (or more depending on legal fees etc.). Yikes, might get pretty ugly, pretty quick!
That will ultimately eliminate these stupid prize for game piles games people play!
