Freaking sweet....some of us could (would) be violating while huntin with shotguns if we get more "forthcoming " rules
There is nothing to be excited over here. Does anyone honestly trust a bureaucrat in Illinois to do the right thing? They can change those rules on a whim and you know the governor & Chitcago hates us to begin with.

We can only hope to beat this in the courts now:

If that is true, part of me says "good for you" (whoever has an extension) and another part of me says "what the hell?"....yesterday's shotgun mag extension tubes are perfectly safe, and thus grandfathered in, while today's tubes are man killing weapons of war ?

Yeah, kind of messed up like most things in the Great State of IL.

Law enforcement Buddy ordered a Semi Auto Pistol Grip shotgun on line, thru Bass Pro, verified that they would sell it to him per the Law enforcement exemption, paid for it and when he went to pick it up they informed him they couldn’t sell it to him based on the law, he had a copy of the exemption, showed it to the counter Guy, who then went back talked to the manager and t informed him, it was Bass Pro Shops policy/decision not to sell it to him.

Most ironic part of the whole deal, is it was a Turkey Gun not a self defense or tactical platform. So I told him him he should borrow the same one he did last year from his buddy, you know the GrandfatherEd in one.

Makin felons out of good every day people. All this is gonna do is force us to go outta state and get one illegally and tell em we had it all before his abuse of power came into play. We’re the only ones being penalized but the leftist libs are too stupid to see it that way. The bruddas ain’t never cared about gun laws and yet they seem to be able to whet whatever it is that they want

Maybe I missed something but are they not talking about extension tubes but it clearly says PUBLIC LANDS. How many guys snow goose hunt on public? Are the guys that own ARs that are grandfathered or have to now banned magazines able to use them as long as they are used on private ground? Would not extension tubes fall under this same private property provision.
