Anyone ever see anything like this before? Have any intel?

Web tags are cool, but hard to get info from the limited experience I’ve indirectly had.

They actually put a-lot of those on inside the egg on wood ducks a few days before hatch. Trippy, huh?

Web tags are put in shortly before the duckling hatches, while they are still in the egg. Wood ducks are often web tagged. That's really neat your friend got a Mallard.
