Most of the day by helicopter . Supposedly it will start dying very fast and start sinking with frosts or freezes ..

Spraying now is basically worthless. Even if spraying a hot mix isn't going to do much as no heat to dry up the mass. Best thing is hope for a big storm in a couple weeks and hope it blows it out.

Most of that so called dead hyacinth will still be there next year if there's no place for it to go. I'm sure no one is going to pick it up. Some of it will decompose but most will still float. Wrong time of year to be spraying. That should have been done when it was 100 degree's plus.

We tried aerial spraying at an old club of primrose but with grapes around, by time club manager finally decided to try it, then got farmer on board and then got permits and it all arranged went from June to end of September and results were pretty much terrible. Club manager viewed as terrible waste of time but it was just too late when spraying the mass.
