The Minneapolis City Council will vote to end the Minneapolis Police Department. And there are enough votes to over ride a mayor's veto. Then what????:scratch:scratch

Is this just a way to bust the union and start over?????

I bet you throw up fences, enact Sharia law, and designate it a free fire zone, the majority will feel right at home.

Minneapolis is under 8% of the total population of Minnesota. Most are not impacted and if the senior police get screwed on job and pension, many will move into the suburbs with open arms.

The Minneapolis City Council and the mayor for that matter have worried about banning coyote fur and plastic bags rather focus on homeless, the police force and rampant random crime in the entertainment district. I believe the major sports franchises issued a letter to the Council (before this) to shape up. I for one have pulled all my entertainment business from the Minneapolis downtown area ... plenty of really good places all over the metro.

Manufacturing business destroyed in the riots are starting to say they are not coming back. Hopefully rural MN will benefit with some new good jobs that do not involve animal slaughter.

Nah......Minnesota took care of Jessie and Frank and the Younger boys over 100 years ago. Northfield citizens were to much for them.

Citizens took them out. Not law enforcement. They would receive the same treatment today.

One must ask the obvious question to the mayor, city council. Who approved the police contract that allowed all the “bad cops” to stay on the force?

the only thing that upsets me about the place burning to the ground is the few good hard working people left
there that suffer and my taxes will have to pay to rebuild it
