Even though my 930 has no cast adjustment I modded the stock to help when I first bought it, but it wasn't really enough. The only way for me to have a centered pattern at 40 yard was to tip my head a touch have my nose brushing the stock. If I didn't my pattern would me off center to the right With my 870 I was able to shim in enough cast to where I didn't have to do this way more natural and repeatable.
When I was setting up my 870 for trap the rem choke barrel was fine for up and down but the factory mod barrel shot low but was fine left and right. I made me a barrel bender and corrected the problem.
Back to the 930 I shoot left handed and at 40 yards with a normal cheek weld and as stated, my pattern was still over the aim point but off center to the right. This is snapping the gun up and firing. I tweaked it with the bender then go shoot 3 rounds.Took a couple trips but got everything centered up now.
