I ordered the floating mojo bluebill and was on backorder with Knutsons all season. Hunted with a buddy and used his and bills and cans seemed to love it. So much so that I called Knutsons and had them switch my order to a floating mallard which was in stock and send it express. Same price exact same decoy. I repainted it as a bill and it looked more realistic and used it the rest of the season. Our weather warmed way up and the divers disappeared. Thing is there are always Goldies and they did NOT seem to like it. I got the remote kit and will continue to toy with it next season.

I'm not a "diver hunter," per se, as we don't see a lot of them other than ringnecks in our marsh or rice. But our occasional scaup or cans tend to eat up spinners of any sort, while the ringnecks that hang around are fairly quick to start avoiding them.

End of Atlantic flyway here, though many ringers go farther south, they get schooled quickly running the gauntlet north-south. Mojo good close to the waterline first two weeks then I put them away and use a jerk rig and hydrate often.
