I am moving to Denver in April and have some questions on which gear I should bring and which gear I should ditch. I hunt ducks and geese in dry fields (geese/sandhills only), flooded fields, and lakes. I have ~150 snow goose shells, 2.5dz speck full bodies, 2.5dz speck floaters, and probably 10-12 dozen assorted puddle duck floater decoys. I also have a 16' mod v jon boat with a mud motor.

What is the style of most waterfowl hunting in colorado? Dry field, creek, or lake? Which species is the most abundant/best to target? Do most people go lease route or public route? Which of my decoys should I keep and which of the decoys should I get rid of? Should I bring the boat or sell it in Texas? And as far as waterfowl leases, how hard are they to come across? Expected cost?

Thanks for any answers you may be able to provide!

Location
Colorado Springs, Co
Maybe try to contact Colorado Waterfowl Assoc.
Most land is private. Very few places for a boat.
I hunt fields mostly.
