Muck boots

Muck Boot Wetland version has been my main hunting boot for years. Comfortable enough for me to walk aways in and warm enough to sit in a goose pit in the winter. I wouldn't wear them pheasant hunting, but I've worn them pheasant hunting and it's been fine. Easy on and easy off for wader hunting is a must for me, especially in the winter when it's cold. If you are in the south where it's warm and humid I would not recommend them though.

Go to a foot store/running shoe store and get some inserts that are comfortable for you.

I have had lacrosse ankle fit rubber boots and felt they were comfortable but hard as hell to get off without having a boot puller nearby. Went with muck knee high rubber boots with the looser ankles and had no issues wearing them and have had several pair now get about 4 years out of them before some part of the rubber cracks or gets punctured which is mostly due to climbing up tree stands versus general use.

Have the Muck Arctic Pro and Woody Max. Both are all day comfortable for me. The Lacrosse Alphaburly, I'm usually ready to kick off before the day is done.

No big toe may require a tighter foot box? That may be a question for your doctor on what to look for in footwear. Good luck.

Yeah he just says support is crucial. I have to go 250 miles to a Cabelas,Scheels,or Sportsman if I want to try them on.

I have worn Muck boots for many years, I have switched to Dryshod after quality issues with Muck. The Muck boots are not as well made as they used to be, so far the Dryshod work ok.

I hope you find some boots that work. Hurting feet can be miserable. I bought a in pair of these based on on another boot thread started by LAducks.

Hard to imagine meaningful support from anything without laces, let alone of knee boot design. But best of luck with it.

Lacrosse Rubber Burlys and Muck Edgewaters are the most comfortable for me to walk distances in. With both of those I use Dr, Schols Heavy Man support insoles. Gives me the arch support I need. Actually use that same cushioned insole in my chestwaders, Lacrosse Hip Boots and even my casual shoes. These insoles are made for weights over 250 and work good for me at 255. I,ve tried the heavier insulated Mucks with lug soles and they,re very uncomfortable to walk in even with proper insoles for me.
