I've worn Muck and all versions of LaCrosse over the years. My current favorite is the LaCrosse Aerohead. Plenty warm and walk all day comfortable. More durable than the Muck Wetlands, which I enjoyed wearing but didn't last for me. Easier on/off than any others. And I have a fairly high arch.

Thanks guys .I might try the insoles first. Having no big toes there is room in them.

I have the Wetland version of the Muck boots, and they're very nice. Comfortable, stable, and very easy to get on and off. Would definitely buy again.

Just get you some Xtra tuffs. Hiked all over Kodiak island for 2 months wearing them.
Someone please educate me on a more arduous use for a rubber boot.

Had 'em and can't believe they'd offer any more support than anything else. Know the soles sucked for my purposes.

Can't help the OP as that's a pretty special situation and hate to see him waste any $. In terms of arch support I found most Mucks to be surprisingly excellent. The Woody Max much better than the Field model and the camp shoe (Muckster II) to be pretty good. I wear that shoe year round.
