Looks like the ND legislature will be busy with all these No Tresspass bill. Interesting in that they are all in the Senate.
This year there is a bill to allow Blaze Pink and Pink or Orange camo for deer hunting. There is at least one positive bill.
WI passed Blaze pink as an option a few years back and I don't believe I have seen any afield anywhere. My thought was to just generate money for clothing manufacturers and nothing else.
Senate Natural Resources Committee on Thursday.....No one spoke in opposition. SB 2144.....Do Pass SB 2036.....Do Pass SB 2037.....Do Not Pass SB 2038.....Do Not Pass
SB 2036.......Passed Senate 45-2 SB 2037......Failed Senate 0-47 SB 2038......Failed 0-47 SB 2144.....Passed 45-2
It looks like both bills passed the house. What will this mean for the fall exactly? You will have to double check with a state run online database for hunting lands that appear to be unposted? This shouldn’t be an issue for those that do their homework as is, but could make for issues for guys that go by the old posting rules and don’t seek out permission. Which to that I say ignorance isn’t an excuse haha. The other part with fencing seems like common sense and more so intended to help increase punishments against any kind of trespasser that would endanger freeing livestock etc. Doesn’t seem like either necessarily harm or restrict, just maybe makes for more responsible decisions on the part of non resident hunters and unposted lands.
