Years ago I was a District Chairman for DU. I was attending a function in my district and when I arrived his pickup was in the parking lot. My son, grandson and I went in and I noticed a DU employee and we joined him at his table. I asked him if he had called the cops since Foiles was there. We had a short discussion concerning Foiles and how incensed I was that he was at a DU function. He said DU received many of his calls and that he was a valuable asset for DU. Our party of 3 moved to another table.

I’ve never seen him at a function, but know a guy from edwardsville who hunts up around campsville somewhere on the river, and he goes to a DU banquet up that way somewhere every year with guys he hunts with… Quincy maybe? He told me that Jeff was always there and throwing money around like crazy, and someone voiced their concern about him being there, and said the Regional Director gave them the same response, and said he was one of their major donors for up there and a valuable asset

First time I had seen him since his release. I can tell ya he seemed a lot more genuine and real this time than any other time I’d ever spoken to him.

I've heard that from others, but I'm not easily convinced. It's damned hard for a tiger to change it's stripes, in my book. AND, after listening to the podcast he did with Rocky & Cooksey several years ago, I was totally disgusted by his attitude. IMHO, every episode in his podcast should have started out with "Once upon a time."
He was truly a rags to riches story that let arrogance and ego cause him to crash and burn. His meteoric rise was exceeded by his rapid fall.

I like Jeff. He looks good, and I'm happy to see him doing well. I'm not surprised he is/was a big DU donor.....Jeff was generous with his time and money. I have a great deal of respect for how he took his punishment. He was made an example, and I never heard any whining. He's taken a beating and he's still standing.

He did time basically for poaching. If I had to exclude all of the poachers in my life, I'd hardly have any friends
