Hello, I am new to this forum so I recon I better introduce myself. I am a 64 year old semi-retired hunting and fishing junkie. In the summer and fall I chase salmon and bottomfish, Depoe Bay is my home port, but my real passion is waterfowling. My duck boat is a 16/48 Smokercraft with a custom built hard sided blind. I hunt the Willamette River a lot as it is in my backyard but I lease a pond with 2 other guys and travel to the Columbia, the coastal bays, and Eastern Oregon a lot to chase birds. I have been hunting with and training labs for 50 years now. Dogs are awesome, I hope to be the person my dog thinks I am. Anyway most of my hunting partners have died or moved away from this crazy state so I am opening up some to pass on some kind of legacy sharing information and maybe make a new friend or two in the process.
