Interesting. My SBE3 BEST 12 gauge had the exact same screw in bead on the carbon fiber rib as my 20 gauge. I’ve never seen that before.

I like a nice bright 'stick' type bead on my shotguns. All mine are the magnetic kind. I have lost a few on my hunting guns, so now they get a dab of some type of glue. (I don't care how it looks)

With those carbon fiber ribs, that isn't an option, unless you just went ahead and glued it on.

Well that's interesting. Just assumed you were talking about a standard steel rib earlier. Looks like an adhesive to secure bead is your only option. New & improved sometimes isn,t better!

I’m assuming the set screw further down the rib, is to secure it to the gun? If you lean your gun, what to keep the rib from getting chipped and broken over time? I see the very end is already wearing.

Is the carbon fiber rib specific to the B.E.S.T. model?

I was interested in the "regular" version. But if I can't easily swap/replace the bead, that's a hard no.

I do not know if 20 ga non best is a steel rib. I super glued it back in. 4 more boxes of trap and it stayed in

What is the advatage (real or supposed) to a carbon rib?
Just that it won't bend?
