I like a 30 inch barrel on a duck hunting gun.

Been holding off on buying the Extrema Plus until they offered it with a 30 inch barrel. Guess they are out on the market now.

Serious question: why do you want a 30" barrel on an autoloading waterfowl gun?

Longer barrel ( and heavier) has always help smooth my swing. Everyone is different but I need length and weight to shoot my best. I have a tendency to "jump" birds, meaning shoot high otherwise.

    Size matters!
I just like longer barreled guns and tend to shoot them better. Great for passing shots.
Got a 30” Xtreme last year, first goose hunt, 5 Canada’s with 6 shots.
It’s got to be the longer barrel, right.

My sporting clays gun has 34 inch barrels and I've done very well with them. There is a distinct advantage having longer barrels, both visually and swing dynamics. I want the longest barrel I can get. My Extrema 2 has a 28 inch barrel and I've always wanted a longer barrel. Time to step up to 30.
