Hunt East of the mountains more and the salt less. For purchases; a Beavertail blind for the 20' Lund Alaskan I picked up during last season.

Shoot better. I was 2.5 shots per bird up to the first week of January then couldn't hit very well after that, so I ended the season at 3.17 for ducks and 2.79 for geese.

I had Hooked on Toys in Wenatchee order the Optifade Timber 20ga for me from their distributer.

Sportsmans Warehouse has the Optifade Timber Beretta A400 Plus 20ga available on their website for $1,949.00 and will ship to the Kennewick store
Finally got tired of the big box stores telling me they didn’t have the Beretta A400 optifade timber in stock or could not order. Went to Hole In the Wall here in Kennewick and had them order one. Picked it up last Thursday.

They only make the 12 in a 26in correct? I would love to buy the 20gauge in a 26in for my wife to use easier
You might want to look into the Benelli Montefeltro. They make a youth and standard 20. A little lighter than the A400 however not equipped with recoil dampening.

New EFI mud motor is installed. I’m upgrading nets on the blinds on mud and outboard rigs with 600denier poly for wind/water resistance and add stubble straps for raffia. Going to pick-up new golden pup this week - that’ll get us back to a dog on each end - am redesigning nets to accommodate hunting 2 dogs again - with a possibility of 3. Will have 2 custom-built aluminum dig ladders adjustable for either boat. Nothing else ‘new’ - still using stuff we’ve accumulated over 55+ years. ‘Never been much on ‘new’ or ‘improved’ gimmicks and make my own boat blinds so they work for us.
