Not a bad morning for Dove

    We got 19 this morning. Could have had probably about 10 more, but we were getting a little cocky with our shooting.

    Looks good! We had a few using our millet field, then the big farms around us harvested and burnt their corn fields and Poof! They were gone.

    Im thinking we can get a few more hunts out of these field. we have beans on one side and corn on the other side , and neither are ready for picking. went there the other night and saw close to 100 dove

    Cute boy, have fun with him, they grow up way to fast, mine is pushing 50 yr. old.

    he's actually my buddies kid, but he loved it ! he kept telling us to bite the heads off for some reason lol . he also loved picking up our empty shells, so that was cool

    Kids are a blast. I can say that because I don't have any! I've always enjoyed every minute I get to spend with my nieces and nephews.

    i dont have any yet....(ol lady wants a few) , but it is fun when they come out. he was getting so excited everytime something flew by. A couple swallows or killdeer would fly by and he would start screaming "SHOOT THEM SHOOT THEM!!!! " . He's only 4 years old lol

    After nine months of carrying one around in her belly, and then passing it through her birth canal, that "few" will become 1 or maybe 2...

    Kids make things interesting for sure..... Mine often remind me of the little aspects that I long since stopped appreciating.
