Only 2 and these were from the old lead days.
is the cat still alive?
As has been said above I cant justify the cost and maintenance. They never look the same as when they leave the Taxis office.
I had my first Bull Sprig mounted. I was in my 20s and we get quite a few sprig but mature bulls in plume were few and far between. He is still around but ugly.
I have 5 deer mounts they are hard to keep clean and I have come to prefer euro mounts for the ability to pick them up and pass them around to be admired. I have a couple large mule deer that people always ask why I didnt mount. Almost seem to imply some disrespect on my part.
Only one, now, a pheasant. Had the first duck I ever killed (beautiful Woodie drake) til neighbor's dog ate the bill off of it. (Getting ready to move into a new house, had the mount off the wall, sitting on the floor). Realized after I trashed it, a taxidermist could have put on a new bill. Pintail drake in freezer, for several years. Never got around to taking it to the man. Also have a mounted deer head.
negative. It was more of a wife who "accidentally " left it on the floor after cleaning deal. They colluded and I never got the full story.
I hear they taste like chicken??
4 Quill Lake geese (One is an absolute **** poor mount). I had my first adult snow and first speck mounted together as a dead mount. One deer mount.
