On the Bench in 2021

    I thought it looked like a line on the keel. That's a fine gunner. I really like that paint job, wigeon can be tricky. I need to make another one and see how my painting skills have improved since the last ones I painted.

    Great looking wigeon. Best colors I've seen on wigeon decoys. I'll take 2 dozen. :l

    Thanks Billy Bob, but I used a real wideon mount to get the colors of the new white cedar one. I always thought the drake's side was too dark on the cork one.

    It looks perfect for the wigeon we get out here. Very few get the lighter color until the last couple weeks of season.

    They haven’t been clear coated yet, so there are some glossy spots still. But the pancake goldeneyes are painted up. A dozen total.

    I am not done with these the bottoms need to be sealed, but I'm calling the paint done. I'm ready to do some teal which are smaller, lol.

    Those are beautiful. Not everyday you see a carved feeding butt, I love it!
