Pape’s is a real good spot!

we usually do dinner with friends at their club house Friday night and steaks Saturday night at our trailer.

Saturday lunch will probably be a sandwich. Maybe a dehydrated meal depending if I stay out all day.

I really like cookin. Like they say, a dogs gotta eat. Really I had two Grandfathers who both enjoyed cooking and the outdoors. One full blooded Italian and one full blooded oakie. From frogs legs to rigatoni made with dove meat. IM always looking for oddball game recipes if anyone has any. Looking forward to trying my hand at a coffee smoked teal this season.
Last year made a pheasant using 4 types of mushrooms, fresh garlic, parsley, Vidalia onion all in a white wine reduction. Pretty dam good maynard. Looking forward to getting some pheasants this year.

EH is underrated but a damn fine pour. I’d vote RR. For some reason I always had a bottle of the reserve on the shelf.
