mine aren’t metal, call an electrician
This is my goto drain opener. I have at least 50 sinks. It is an acid, not a base. Ph is probably around 2.0, so don't get it on your skin. Neutralize it with some Windex if you do have skin contact. Anybody knows a base will neutralize an acid. The dishwarsher is on yet another line that isn't blocked. I tried plunging and one of those CO2 guns to no avail.....yet

Geez! Our hardware store used to keep it behind the counter. People steal it in order to make meth.
Snake it. All that stuff is bad for your drains. I spent Sunday fixing a leak in my kitchen sink because we used Drano in it. The sink tailpiece (metal) eventually because paper thin and brittle. P trap clog will never be fixed by chemicals. Just pokes a hole in it so water flows temporarily again. Get under the house if you can and see what you can see.Geez!
We had already used a basic chemical in there. Liquid Fire label said not to use behind any other chemical. So, I'm using another base overnight. If that doesn't work, I'm going for the long ball and use your stuff...tomorrow.
