OT...Soft Shell Crabs

There is a place right down from Hobo seafood in SQ that does. I can’t remember the name of them to save my life, but they have good soft shells. Bought quite a few from there in the past.

isn’t there a place near Swan Quarter that has a big tank where they farm soft shells?

They’re not farmed. The peelers are wild caught within a few days of shedding and held in tanks until they molt. The place you are talking about starts shedding crabs earlier than most places in NC because they will buy peelers from SC and GA before our season gets going.
