Yes. It is more closely to a “sausage” or salami like you mentioned.
The Old Frosty Morn Bologna was made in Clarksville. Been closed a long time.
I believe another conglomerate bought the rights to the name, and is producing it elsewhere (East TN??..)
IMO, it does not taste the same, or I got older and taste buds changed.
But as a kid… a fried egg, fried Bologna, slice of cheese, and slice of tomato was a mighty fine breakfast sammich, lunch sammich, or dinner.
When mom fixed it, I thought it was a treat…… didn’t know we were poor.
You weren't poor, if you ate that as kid you were rich!



And it was awesome all the same
