Dani, great pictures there. I honestly cannot decide which I like better, but both belong in a frame. Used the light and the background to your advantage for sure.

Just got back last night,had a great time with some old friends out west.

Redjones, I doubt there is anywhere in California right now capable of producing that many birds... A shame, cause California actually used to have some really good pheasant hunting...
I believe my ol' dog found the only two around this past weekend, and I was tickled to have him flush up a couple of roosters for me... I was even more tickled that I was able to put them both in the game bag...

Things are picking up a little in CA for me. Here is my 5th rooster this year. All on public ground.

We got a seven man limit (3/person) in one draw. The draw is about 100 yards wide and 3/4 mile long. It is full of springs and cattails, and when it begins to freeze the walking can be treacherous, but well worth the trouble.
