After 3 seasonal trips to S. Dakota over the years it was a Grand experience , It's a trip I wish every hunter could experience .
It seemed just a few years ago , we had a abundance of Wild Pheasants here in the Grasslands but with the ag practices of today chances are it will never
be the same . Planted birds are just a reminder of what it was like , other than the sudden explosion in front of a pointing dog , the speed of the escape is
the difference of hunting Wild over Pen raised . I cherish the sight of a Longtailed range Bird on a foggy mornings Duck hunt even though I solute their
cockiness I know the chances of successfully hunting them is very slim indeed !
