Pickled bologna

Guys, I have some pickled bologna that I bought about 5 weeks ago, it’s been opened but is on the bottom shelf of the ‘fridge. Is it still safe to eat? I ate quite a bit, but wasn’t in the mood for the last
few weeks. Thx.

Isn’t the whole point of pickling something to increase its shelf life? I’ve had jars of pickles in the fridge stay good for over a year.

Look at the hot sausages and pickled eggs setting out on the counters and never get refrigerated.

I have to be honest, I had to look up to see if pickled bologna was a real thing. Worst of all, I grew up in Michigan where they say it is a big thing. Some day.

Pickled bologna is good. Eat a few, drain a little, dump a jar of pickled jalapeños in and it's even better. Yes it'll be fine to eat.
