Here is the latest map of our pintails we are satellite tracking from South Carolina to the breeding grounds. They have astounded us by migrating far, far North of where we thought they would. Prairie breeders?? I am afraid not. They are now in the arctic...

Dang! That is way up there. Is there any other bird that goes that far north?

Yeah JPAC each color represents a different bird. They were captured at several locations across our state after the season ended this winter. Transmitters were placed on the birds and we realesed them to see where they would go!
