There's no where you can't go with the tide way up like it's been the last few days. Just don't go parking the boat in the hide and letting it get jammed in there...never did it, but heard about it. Good luck,be safe, shoot them up!

Well I guess I'm the only one in Va. That can't get to their house cause of tide. Water everywhere, higher than the hurricane. We are definitely sinking in Bill Island.

I pulled the boat into the wooded shoreline, where I typically sit on a dry land.
Water was over my waders when I go out of the boat.

Didnt pull the trigger. Saw a bunch of black ducks and a few mallards but nothing came close.

I did not hunt, but the rest of our group reported very few numbers of w ducks (down 50% +), no big ducks seen, and slim kill numbers in a corridor from Toano to south of F'burg for three days of hunting. My guess is that they are really spread out (even though it has been dry for six weeks) from 15 months of record wet.

We got to shoot each day and got some birds. High water made it difficult to hunt normal so we improvised the best we could and made out o.k. Must be an age thing, hunted hard four days and Im pooped. Now its time to get the rest of the blinds brushed and ready to go!
