"The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is proposing a change to the current license fee structure which will result in a simple and more intuitive user experience and provide the agency with a more stable source of revenue crucial to the department’s ability to provide the mission-critical programs and services to the people of Louisiana".

I bought a Lifetime hunting and fishing license for $500 around 20 years ago. Great purchase. Buy one now if you can. Going up to $1000.

1000.00 is still cheap. I told the Secretary at a meeting last week it should be 1500.00.

Don’t know why I never bought a lifetime license before now. I mailed in form last week and hoping to get it at $500.

Hopefully higher fees will weed out the riff raff.

Riff raff has always been and will always be. We need more birds. A lot more.

I'm sorry to inform you about "the truth" it stings me too but...
The truth is the ducks shortstopped in Illinois.
I left for Arkansas kicking myself because all the greenheads were in my back yard and duck season had ended several weeks prior.
    Buy a lifetime Illinois license.
    Lol
